Cartoon Network Magazine

Cartoon Network Magazine

Cartoon Network and Scholastic Inc. partnered to do a one-shot magazine sold in bookstores nationwide and through Scholastic’s book club to compete with Disney and Nickelodeon, which have companion magazines that drive traffic back to their on-air programming to boost ratings. The final newsstand sell-through for the magazine was an unprecedented 86%, and Scholastic sold out its allotted copies in the first month, quickly returning to press for a second run.
